Wylfa gets some Brownie Points
Wylfa has assisted 1st Carreglefn Brownies in starting up. The new group, started by Louise Rooney, opened their doors in January this year and now has 18 members.

Wylfa Scores
Wylfa were recently contacted by Llanfairpwll Junior Football Club, who were in desperate need of additional goal posts for a forthcoming tournament. They currently have 150 members, spread over eight juniors teams from the under 7s to under 16s, who play in the Anglesey League. The club have recently been awarded a bronze accreditation by the Welsh FA and are now working hard towards the silver award.

Wylfa Cares
Magnox North Wylfa Site has won Business in the Community’s Wales Cares Team of the Year award – for the team that has shown that together they can make a difference.

Sandwich Tern Success
EnergySolutions, who are responsible for operating Magnox North Wylfa Site, have generously donated £2500 to the North Wales Wildlife Trust. This will be used to provide two part-time wardens, who will protect the Sandwich Terns from predators and egg thieves.
