Go Wales Recruitment Fair
Magnox North attended the ‘Go Wales’ Graduate Recruitment Fair at Cardiff International Arena, as a part of the Magnox North 2009 Graduate Scheme. The stand was manned by people from Wylfa, Trawsfynydd, the Engineering Waste Strategy and Technical Directorate (EWST) and Berkeley. The event was run at the same time as a major job fair, Jobserve Live, also being held in the arena.

Apprentices at Wylfa
Nine new apprentices have joined Wylfa this month - the highest intake ever - three in control and Instrumentation Maintenance, two in Electrical Maintenance and four in Mechanical Maintenance.

This year, Wylfa Site took on 35 work experience students for a period of 4 or 8 weeks.

This year Wylfa are taking on more summer placement students than ever. Twenty-three students will be joining various departments around the site and will be working at Wylfa for 8 weeks.
